It helps the pain, shrinks the cyst and will also make you bleed a bit more during your period...but it is worth the relief. Plus make sure that you take the aspirin with a dos approval before you so cause if you are a teen, it could cause you to have rye syndrome...look it up and learn before you take the aspirin.
