I have a large ovarian cyst (which is to be removed by surgery), will this affect my bladder in any way. I feel like I always need a wee and I wondered if the cyst could be pressing down on my bladder all the time

your urinary symptoms will go once you have had surgery. at the moment there is pressure on the bladder from the cyst. do not worry you will feel better soon.
Try homeopathy. It will take time but surely dilute your cyst.
Anatomically speaking – the cyst has nothing to do with your bladder. However, when I had my cyst and had surgery I also came up with a bladder and kidney infection. You may want to mention it to your doctor. If it’s still in the UTI stages, you can catch it before it becomes super painful. Good luck with your surgery!
Like Ashley said, they usually aren’t related. If the cyst is very large, 20 cms or so, then yes it could press on the bladder. Since you didn’t mention a size, I’ll presume less. Check for a UTI or urge incontinence, you know, the old gotta go, gotta go commercial.
i had an ovarian cyst and it was 15cm big
i had it moved they took away the cyst and they took out one of my ovaries and one of my fallopean tubes and then it was 50 50 chance of me being able to have a baby but i did get pregnant 2 years after having my opperation but unfortunatley i lost the baby and that was 2 months ago
