I had ovarian cysts and I didn't get pain down my legs. There were times I could barely walk but never in my leg. Also birthcontrol has regulated mine and they aren't there. You shouldn't wait till Jan to be seen. You never know what could be causing this. Clinics are cheaper than hospitals. There are some that are just for people without insurance. Search them on the internet or ask around. Hope you begin to feel better. Oh... try drinking warm beverages. Tea, hot cocoa, apple cider. It’s kind of hard to say. The pain in that area was terrible and worse during menstruation. I didn't have any pain in the legs tho. Did you strain that leg earlier? Any other symptoms like fever, swelling, dizziness? I used to have leg pain with my period and I had no cyst. Keep an eye on it and see if it goes away when your period is over. They could be related.
