Ovarian cyst cause 4 positive pregnancy tests?

I have taken four pregnancy tests in the last 4 days all of which have showed posistive for pregnancy. I was told today by a friend that an Ovarian Cyst can cause the positives on a pregnancy test. I made an appointment with my OB/GYN to have my first check up since the tests showed positive. After my friend told me that these cysts could cause the positives I have been a little bummed. Anyone know?

That’s crazy talk! Ovarian cycts can’t make you pop positive!!! Pregnancy tests are turned positive only by a hormone that your body makes when you are pregnant. Your body doesn’t make this hormone unless you are pregnant! I would go get a blood test tomorrow! Congratulations!
I have read a lot about it coz I had them my self but never read a thing like that…and doctors never told me anything about it…maybe u are pregnant…why not?
