Ovarian Cyst Pain, Please Help?
Hello, I believe that I have ovarian cysts. I went to a doc a few years ago and he thought that is what it was and said if the pain doesn’t go away, come back. It went away. Usually the day before my cycle and the first day, I get a bad pain, about the size of a golf ball, right where my ovaries are. Usually it is on my left side, but sometimes on both.
My question is this..my period ended a few weeks ago. However, today, I started having pain on my left side, about the size of a golf ball, right where my ovary is. The pain is not as intense as it is the day before or the day of, but close.
could this be related to cysts and if so, why am I getting pain when it is not time for my period?
please help. serious answers only. thanks 
thank you for your help so far. but has anyone with cysts had pain other than right around your period. can you have pain a few weeks before you start?

I suggest that you go see an OB/GYN, they can do an ultrasound to find out what it is.
Ultimately you will need to get your serious answers from you OB/GYN. However, although ovarian cyst typically occur during a woman’s menstrual cycle, there are variations that occur due to other factors as well such as hormonal imbalance or Hypothyroidism, or Increased upper body fat distribution.

You can experience pain from an ovarian cyst at anytime, not just during your period. I understand that is when you’ve had your pain, but just not limited too. The pain can be more intense or just more noticeable during your menstrual cycle. To help with the pain you might want to use hot compress or a heating pad and pain reliever.
Since its been a couple of years since you’ve bee diagnosed with an ovarian cyst you might want to see your health care provider to make sure your cyst change in type or has not grown in size.
