Ovarian Cyst/Cancer Investigation?

Hey guys,
I’ve been having lower left side pain for a few mnths on and off now and lower back pain. I went to the hospital today for appt. The doctor said he wants to do a pelvic ultrasound. He examined me and pressed my lower back and asked did it hurt there when he did it ..it really hurt. What could this be?

I just asked sort of a similar question. I had an ovarian cyst earlier this month. The pain only hurt for about 48 hrs. The pain was like cramps/lower back pain but very intense. I hurt to have any pressure on that area esp as you described/ It was pretty constant but at times it got worse or better in waves. I honestly can’t say but I hope my description can help you. Talk to your doctor more and let him know your concerns maybe
It could be something and nothing. Dont stress out until you get the result or you will drive yourself mad, wondering. Its probably something quite simple
kidney infection?
Why didn’t you ask him when he was examining you?
I had the exact same thing. sharp pain in my left lower abdomen, really really really sharp and pain in my left lower back. My dr. diagnosed i had 5 cysts on my left ovary
