Ovarian Cysts-Serious symptoms?

Does this sound like an Ovarian Cyst? My period ended yesterday. But for the week before my period started, and even now, my ovaries have been hurting bad, I have PMS symptoms even when I am not PMSing. Last night, my left Ovary hurt so bad, I thought I would die. It was excrucating and debilitating. It went away within seconds though. Today, my other Ovary hurts. Is this worth a trip to the ER?

If you are in a lot of pain I would see your doctor right away!! I have had ovarian cysts before and they can be painful at times and not at other times!! The only way to diagnose an ovarian cyst is a pelvic exam and an ultrasound..But just have it checked because if it’s not a cyst it could be something more serious!!
If the pain is severe, yes it’s worth a trip to see a doc.
Yes, and don’t leave until you’ve had an ultra sound. They will try to fob you off with an internal examination but that is not enough. Exagerate your symptoms and make sure they give you a scan. I lost my left ovary because I was not forceful enough. Good luck!
