Should I have surgery to remove ovarian cysts?

I have a 5.5-cm dermoid hemorrhagic cyst on each ovary, and they haven’t improved in the last 9 months, when they were first detected on ultrasound.
Should I have the surgery to remove them? I don’t want to screw up my future fertility in any way.

This question is for a doctor..a friend of mine had the same thing..she finally went for surgery after she had enough pain..Please call your doctor..he or she knows your body so much more then any of us here do..
I think a real doctor would be in a position to answer that, as opposed to people on the internet. Most of them cannot spell, by the way.
