An ovarian cyst rupturing isn't always an emergency, but if you have a large cyst it can twist your ovary and kill it and that would lead to infection and all sorts of nasty stuff. Go get checked! Not everyone has insurance and money to go. But the er will have to see you whether you have the money or not. I knew i had a cyst and had been getting sick and thought it was from a cyst but actually it was my bladder coming out and i am 36. That happens to older women.
