Just wondering. 
Also, are ovarian cysts fatal?

Some cysts can burst or rupture. If this happens, how you feel depends on what the cyst contained, whether it is infected and whether there is any bleeding. There will usually be some pain when a cyst ruptures, but it should only be severe pain if there is bleeding or infection. You really need to get it checked out by a doctor.
Ovarian cysts are rarely fatal, but a ruptured cyst can be dangerous if you do not get medical help quickly.
In the long term, conventional medical approaches to ovarian cysts are very limited, and treat the symptoms rather than the underlying root cause. You are much more likely to get rid of your cyst once and for all if you take a holistic approach to treatment.

The symptoms of a ruptured ovarian cyst may depend on what type of cyst it is. Ovarian cysts can be follicular, corpus luteum, hemorrhagic, dermoid, endometroid, and tumors (both malignant and non-malignant).
Usually when a cyst torques (twists) and ruptures there is intense abdominal pain. You can also have tenderness and bloating in the area, fever, nausea/vomiting, fainting, and blood pressure changes.
Ovarian cysts themselves aren’t fatal, but hemorrhaging and infection if they burst can potentially be fatal.
Most ovarian cysts resolve (go away) within a few weeks to a few months, depending on the type.

I have been hospitalized for infection following burst ovarian cysts. One burst while I was jogging, and I fainted in the road from the intense pain. Fortunately someone found me and took me to the nearest hospital!
